Tampons after birth

3 months after birth and I've tried using a tampon because I hate using pads. I had to take it straight out and the pain nearly made me cry. Anyone else had this happen is it worth a trip to the docs? I didn't tear that badly but the pain is awful

Worth speaking to your practise nurse
However, my youngest DS is almost 10 and I still can’t use them. It doesn’t actually hurt but it just feels really wrong.
After I had my dd (now 13) I could use them ok but after DS I just couldn’t for some reason, they just feel odd

I haven't used them since having my children - it's the sensation, horrible!

No experience with vaginal birth but might a mooncup work?
