Itchy down there!

Hi all,
Pretty embarrassing problem but wanted to get some advice before bothering the GP.

For the last few days I’ve been really itchy down below. I think it all sparked up after I had a shower about 4 days ago and as I was in a rush I washed a little too roughly down there with a scented shower gel and a shower puff 😬 Normally I just use a bar of soap but was rushing.

Since then I’ve been quite uncomfortably itchy! I’ve never had thrush or any kind of bother down there before so nothing to go on from past experience. Should I get some canestan or go to the GP? Advice greatly appreciated!

I would get canesten,your gp can give you a prescription,for it,tablet and cream form. Not only is it freaking irritating,you'll feel better with peace of mind. Plus visit to gp will clarify if that's defo what you need.

I get this usually around or before a period or on hot days. Canesten usually sorts it but didnt last time so used sudacreme which was great calmed it all down. I did get a check from GP make sure nothing else going on but all clear its just irritation

sounds like you have had a reaction to the soap. Sudo cream should help. If it doesn't help then head to your pharmacist and get canestan instead as it is likely to be thrush then.
