Wet ears

Most mornings I wake up with moisture inside my ear canal. If I wear earplugs it's worse, but even without plugs my ears are wet inside. It's clear fluid, not wax. Does anyone else get this?

Gosh, I've never thought about it, though google tells me you do sweat in your ears. It's so cold in my bedroom you can almost see your breath so more likely to be condensation than sweat. Grin I'd have thought if I'm sweating that much my hair and/or body would also be sweaty - ? I get it when I don't wear earplugs too, and it's something that's only started happening in the last few years. I thought it could be mucus (bleurgh), like what causes glue ear, but it's watery.
