Lumbar steroid injections

I had this done one week ago for herniation at L4/5 - instant relief for one week. I wasn’t expecting it to work so soon. I couldn’t feel any tingling in my foot or sciatic or back pain at all through this week, until yesterday when I got a spasm. Now it’s all back to almost the level it was before! Is this normal? I don’t see my consultant for weeks (don’t even have an appt yet) and I am tearing my hair out as this is affecting so many elements of my life for 7+ months now

Mine didn't work I'm afraid. I had one in l5/s1. It was the most hideously painful experience ever. Afterwards I had to have another MRI the pain was so bad and the measurement of the herniated disc had increased. I ended up having an op. Good luck, disc herniation is hell
