yes they can it may be nicer//less embarrassing for you if you were to wear a tampon tho.- the staff wont care either way, good luck...

notsofarnow · 09/05/2007 21:38

hmm usually use mooncup, makes it worse that i actually work on the ward so know already embarassing situation as they are my colleagues

I wouldn't wear a tampon
Mind you I have a partial prolapse so that would have made a difference

notsofarnow · 09/05/2007 21:44

hmm so do i i think

Are you up for TVT or Macro Plastique?

I've had both

notsofarnow · 10/05/2007 11:01

Left mobile on the bed so my mother couldn't ring me to tell me 10mins after i left the house aghhhhhh

How annoying - do you think you'll need a "fix"?

notsofarnow · 10/05/2007 22:03

guess so but doc that saw me originally didn't think there much of a prob but he didn't do an internal

How much do you leak?

notsofarnow · 11/05/2007 10:00

depends really on what i'm doing or how long i leave it, if i run water say to wash hands then i'm useless usually have to go the loo as soon as i've washed my hands, if i've been driving, i'm fine while i'm driving then have to make a dash for it as soon as i get out of car.

Tricky - I was leaking - i sort of slow constant drip so it was definatly worth it for me

notsofarnow · 11/05/2007 19:54

hmm definately not that bad. Thing is working on the ward I only see what people are like immediately after surgery and for about 3 days after so don't get to see or know what the long term effects are.

Macroplastique was great as a short term fix
It failed when I had an ectopic

The TVT is fab - it works as long as I don't trampoline

notsofarnow · 13/05/2007 14:47

hmm trampoline not such a good idea is it. We have a 12ft one and i have to make sure I go the loo before I go on it.

It's definatly a no go area for me

I can run/dance a bit - but I still can't wait to go (iyswim)
