I have had this cyst for around 3 years, it causes me no pain and I rarely notice it.
However I'm overdue a smear test BUT whenever a speculum has been inserted it pinches my cyst, which is bloody painful so they withdraw it. I absolutely want this smear test but I'm just so anxious as I fear the nurse won't be able to get the speculum in, therefore meaning I've still not had the procedure done.
I wish I could just go and book my appointment but I am finding it difficult.
Is there anyone out there who has a cyst and had a successful smear test?
