Anal skin tags

I'm on day 3 of recovery from having anal skin tags removed. Has anyone had it done recently? How long did it take to recover?

Hi I had this done about two years ago. Was fine after about two weeks back to sex etc. I had to sit on a cushion or padded chair for months afterwards though!

Thanks for the reply. I think I'd be ok If I didn't have young children and was able to poo in peace! Haha. My husband was off for a few days but now he's back at work. The hospital told me to not bend etc for 2 weeks but I'm constantly picking up after the kids so I'm worried that I'll make things worse. I can't wait for it all to be healed and I can wipe my arse properly! Glad you are ok now x

Ah bless you. I did have help with kids after as they went to their dads and mine are older too.

Keep up the sitz baths if you can. I think every time I opened my bowels for at least 2 weeks I had a sitz bath with savlon liquid and warm water. Do your best not to strain. I was given some liquid stuff to take before food to help keep stools soft too and I’d recommend that too.
