Recommended vascular surgeon?

Hi my best friend is currently living in Lake Nicaragua. She has a history of haemanjiomas, one in her neck has grown out quite large and so she wants to come back to the uk and see a consultant. Does anybody have any experience of this and could recommend one? Thank you.

Does your friend really want a vascular surgeon rather than a plastic surgeon? Vascular surgeons are quite specialised these days and I don't know that this makes up a very big part of their practice.

Hi she did mention a plastic surgeon, mainly for the cosmetic look after surgery. But she is worried because she has a long history of haemanjiomas since she was a child. She has had a lot removed over the years but been ok the last 10. She was going for an annual mri on her head as she has small haemanjiomas on her brain, but having now been ou5 of the country for a while she needs to get back into the system. The consultant she trusted was at St Thomas’s but has now retired.
