The last year I've noticed when I get up from the sofa a walk into the kitchen I go all light headed for about 30 seconds .
I eat well and drink plenty of water .
I've never fainted and my bloods are fine .

That used to happen to me when my iron was very low. Is your iron level ok?

Bunnybutton · 25/03/2018 23:58

I had very low iron last January and vitimin d deficiency but it went back to normal as soon as the weather warmed up , but I never felt dizzy 😕.

Low blood pressure?

Maybe postural hypotension? I regularly get dizzy (and sometimes faint) when moving from sitting to standing. For me, it’s down to a combination of low blood pressure and a slow (under 50bpm) resting heart rate. Drinking a lot of water, adding salt to food, regularly moving my feet etc while sitting down and getting up slowly has helped a lot.
