PCOS IBS diet advice

Hi All, I’m suffering from pcos all my life. Trying to change my diet (eliminating carbs and sugar). But I also have started suffering from what doctors say is IBS. I can’t eat nuts, pop corn, milk, coffees, etc. - all causing so much lower right abdomen pain. It all narrows my food choices down to non-root veg+meat. I’m wondering what I can have for breakfast/snacks? And any lunch/dinner ideas are also much appreciated. Any good resources with advice on these? Many thanks

Not much advice, but I feel your pain! I have both conditions. My IBS is better with bland white foods - white bread, pasta etc - exactly the stuff thats terrible for PCOS. V Frustrating. As I work in an open plan office and have to sit through meetings, I can't eat things that make me farty! For lunch I like a smooth soup - it feels more digestible if blended and if you make your own you can leave out trigger foods such as onions and garlic. And a white roll with plenty of protein in it. If you've not heard of the FODMAP diet that could be something to look into - try and get a referral to a dietician who can guide you through it
