I may well be overreacting but there is a history of arthritis in my family, mainly affect the wrists, hands and knees (not entirely sure that is relevant or not). Over the last couple of weeks I have developed a very raised and hard lump on my finger. I can't see any signs of a bit or infection and I haven't hurt it in any way. It is extremely painful to bend.
Any advice? I really hope it isn't related to arthritis as my mother and aunties have suffered so much and it always started in the wrists and knuckles
