Coloposcopy today referred for scan and hysterospocy

Hi posted previously about being referred under 2 week cancer referral by Gp. Had my coloposcopy today. Biopsy taken. Some changes to cells. But also refered for an urgent hysteroscopy and scan. Can’t get the hysteroscopy for a month but scan next week. Anyone experienced these and offer me any advice and/or what to expect? Thanks in advance

I'm sorry you're going through this and hope you get good news.

I've had two hysteoscopies and they were both very straightforward. A bit uncomfortable but no pain as such. I was back at my desk straight after each one and I can't remember even needing to take a painkiller.

Thanks for the reply. Had it done today was fine except for biopsy part (ouch). They found a polyp so that needs to be removed. Feeling reassured I think and hopefully it won’t be sinister.
