Stress fracture?

I'm pretty sure I have a stress fracture of the 3rd metatarsal (I run). 111 were useless, said RICE and should be better in a couple of days

Should I go to GP? Ask for MRI? Or A&E knowing that it is likely to not show up for a couple of weeks on XRay. I feel like I could do with a crutch as walking really hurts.

Any advice? Should I self treat or go to docs/A&E?

go.
if it is a fracture it needs to be treated accordingly.

I’ve never in 30 years of orthopaedics seen much done for a toe. They may stap it next to the other with tape...which you can do yourself...it gets sticky and stinky, and not something people keep on...
Crutches are overkill, you could try a cane or walking stick?

Most they will do is a boot for a few weeks.
