Never had them before but have discovered one. Do they increase over time. I remember someone telling me she had them and they were like a bunch of grapes! Definitely want to avoid that. Just wondered if anyone else has had them. Is there anything over the counter that worked for you please.

Got them myself atm, so I share your pain! If completely external then preparation h is very good, gentle but effective with natural ingredients. Internal ones can be harder to shift but persevere. Nelsons H care cream (ye olde Hollandy Barretty) is fab, doesn't have some of the chemical stuff that things like germoloids and anusol have, so won't thin the tender skin in that area but is equally effective. Camomile, dandelion or mullein tea are all good helpers too, as is getting more fibre into your diet if that's been lacking. Best of luck. Oh, and if they're internal and you're using the applicator nozzle that comes with the nelsons h care, put a dab of vaseline on it before you do the deed Wink

Yes I have. If none of the more gentle creams help then try something with hydrocortisone in, this can be bought from boots, Superdrug etc but you need to check ingredients, it will say HC on it. Can’t use for too long but couple of weeks is fine, and for me helped calm them. Failing that a visit to GP.
