Light sensitivity šŸ™ HELP!

BrownTurkey · 21/03/2018 19:44

In the last six months I have been massively more affected by light sensitivity, light makes me squint and scrunch up my eyes when I’m driving day or night, when I’m looking at the tv, and when I am under any harsher lights.

I’m a demon for googling amd mumsnetting things so I have become aware of the world of driving and tv glasses, and that blue eyed people are more susceptible to this. The optician seems very underwhelmed by the problem and seems to think its very common. But am I really consigned to wearing tinted glasses all the time or walking around with one eye closed? Please tell me you found a magic vitamin you could take or something that actually helped?

Following with interest...I have very light blue eyes and I have to wear sunglasses even when it's cloudy. It's not ideal.

So, like all the other issues with my body post 40, acceptance is the way forward? And indoor sunglasses. Off to enter my varifocal prescription into glasses direct...
