Were you more susceptible to sickness bugs afterwards and have more of a delicate stomach? I’m talking a while after...8months on for me now.

Don’t quote me on it because I am definitely not a professional but I do remember some article about a study of people who had the Norovirus and suffered long term with stomach inflammatory issues and IBS. Go to the doctor it doesn’t sound right Flowers

Yes, took a while to get back to normal - months rather than weeks.

I think probiotics are meant to help.

Yes go back to the gp I needed some tablets to reduce the acid in my stomach as the virus had up set the balance in my stomach.

It caused me to be lactose intolerant for a while afterwards which was delightful! Probiotics are good at getting your gut back to it’s former glory.

Probiotics help a lot. Stomach bugs strip the goodness out of your stomach

Yep, caught one when DD was a couple of weeks old and had one every few months for that past 2 years compared to once in the last 30! Probiotics give me terrible stomach cramps though so not sure what the answer is....

I never used to get sickness bugs! On probiotics at the moment so hopefully they’ll help. Feel really weak.

Yes. I'd strongly recommend taking a good probiotic as a starting point.
