Arrrgghhh!!

What is going on with my skin, all of a sudden 'teenage acne' seems to have come back with a vengeance!

My skin is normally great! Not even a dry patch! I'm 38 and got asked all the time what I use on my skin....compliments a plenty, good times.....:)

But ever since I had my lovely LO 7 months ago oil, open pores, patches of acne and now massive painful spots... the works!

I EBF for 6 months and have just weaned her, she's a hungry girl and doing fab!

But what's up with the skin!? Is it hormones?? Has anyone else had this?

Any tips?

Oh hey! Seven month old here, and my chin has some awful cystic spots. I’m using duac on them, and trying to drink more water. I know they’re hormonal though. The same thing happened with my eldest. I don’t have a good answer, I just know your pain.

That's exactly what I have! The cystic spots are on my chin too!

Thanks for your reply, is duac a cream? (I've just bought Aztec clay and apple cider vinegar!?)

Duac is a cream that I had hanging about from when my skin used to get awful, it’s peroxide and antibiotic or something - usually v effective. My poor sad face.

I’ve had these full, painful hormonal spots on my chin and jawline for ages too. Randomly came on in my thirties after barely having a spot in my life. I tried duac and then acnecide which helped a little bit for a little while but I’ve had to go back and get antibiotics now which is finally starting to clearing it up after four weeks or so. It’s awful isn’t it, I’ve had months of feeling as though my face looks dirty and avoiding eye contact with strangers. Grin
