Would you phone in sick?

Nasty virus, temperature, aching, exhausted, mucus in throat, banging headache. Tomorrow I'm meant to be teaching all day and leaving at 6.45 am to drop off 2 DCS at different childcare settings, DH is away with work. I have a full timetable tomorrow plus break duty, teaching PE in the afternoon and helping with parent's evening. Will be out of the house for 12 hours. I need to sleep most of all. No appetite. Everything hurts

Definitely go sick. You’ll only end up making yourself feel worse. Uo may feel faint if you aren’t eating properly too & should just be lying down resting.
Is there any relief cover available?

Thank you
I will do it now but I have The Fear.

I've phoned in sick for tomorrow so they have time to sort cover... no way I could cope. Thanks Diamond

Glad to hear you phoned in sick. Struggling in would have made you feel 100 times worse & longer to recover. Hope you feel better soon, Flowers

Thank you. I think it's flu. I can walk to the loo and back but it's a big struggle. I couldn't cope at work if I tried!
