Hi. New to this and just wanted to talk to other mums and mum's to be. I've been having some possible pre eclampsia symptoms. Been getting shoulder pain for a few days on and off, migraines with aura and heartburn that will not go away no matter what I do but tonight I've thrown up. Like alot and know all this can be symptoms of pre eclampsia but I don't want to cause drama over something I'm being paranoid about. Just wanted some advice

You need to speak to your GP or midwife. With the best will in the world a group of non-medic strangers on the internet can’t tell you what’s wrong. Hope you get some answers soon.

Yeah I was going to call in the morning just wanted some advice in the mean time

How far along are you?

If you’re worried, best thing to do is call triage and get yourself and baby checked out. Better to be safe than sorry.

You need to ring in emergency number on your notes tonight.

Shoulder pain and heartburn aren't really pre eclampsia symptoms really.

But if you're worried you need you BP, urine and bloods checked. No one on here can diagnose you.

Newmumtobe29 · 19/03/2018 21:48

I wasn't asking for a diagnoses or anything I'm just worried because when I've looked it up pre eclampsia has come up. And I'm 32w tomorrow

Heartburn is a sign of pre eclampsia, as are headaches and nausea, so I would ring triage and get checked out tonight if you can. Flowers
