Ds lost his voice. Does he need to see GP????

Ds is 2.2 and has lost his voice he keeps saying mouth hurts but has ate plenty of dinner and temperature is fine.

I would if it was my ds,just to be on the safe side

I'd take him just to be on the safe side.

DS had a really sore throat last week - no temperature and still ate ok most of the time. Just complained every so often that his throat hurt.

Took him this week as he was still complaining and sounding hoarse.

Doctor gave him antibiotics as he had a throat infection and also some canestan as he'd also developed oral thrush.

I felt really bad that I hadn't taken him sooner.

got an appointment in half an hour

He has developed a temp and ben asleep most of afternoon
