Can you get time off work for PND or PNA?

I'm suffering with really bad PND and PNA and finally have decided to get some help after almost 18 months. I wanted to know if I have any legal rights to ask for time off work?

Youre entitled to have time off for any illness. Your pay will be according to your employers sickness policy. As it is unlikely to resolve in a couple days (obviously), get your Dr to sign you off if you need some time off.

You can be off sick for any illness. You would have 7 days of self-certification and after that would need a note from your GP saying how long it would be before you are fit to return to work.

Pay would be determined by your work's sickness policy.

For depression I would encourage you to take the time you need and focus on getting well Flowers
