I have had spotting with thrush before, what are you using to treat it?

dissapointedafternoon · 18/03/2018 17:47

It's just some spotting when I wiped after I have sex.
I've used some cream but think I may need to take the pill. It came on last night?
I'd been taking anti biotics and had surgery as well so maybe a bit run down.
I've been drinking yakult as well :(

Antibiotics and thrushSad I had to take them for 10 weeks and ended up with three bouts of thrush during the time!
I would try an oral thrush tablet, but not if you are still taking antibiotics.

Had exactly this a couple of months ago. Oral tablet did nothing, needed the vaginal pessary and it’s been improved since.

Not taking anti biotics any more :(
Is the tablet vicious on the stomach? I've got some in my medicine basket

My GP just told me not to take the oral thrush tablet when also on antibiotics, but I was on high doses with a breast abscess....
by the time she told me that I had already taken two doses!

Does it cause abdominal pain if you have thrush? I'm concerned because it really hurts where my appendix is.
I had this pain last month and it turned out to be a ruptured ovarian cyst which I had surgery for

I have bled with thrush when it was extremely severe once.

I haven’t had pain with thrush, I think you should get medical advice especially as you have recently had surgery.

Hmm
I think I'll call the doctor in the am if the pain settles otherwise I may need to see the doctor tonight.
I already have to take pethidine for my back pain so I am really shocked how much it hurts considering I've already taken extremely strong meds.
I'm so fed up of being ill.
Never had health problems until I was pregnant
