Hi everyone just had my wisdom tooth removed last weekend on Friday . It doesn't hurt as such anymore but my jaw is still aching and I can't eat I've lost half a stone in a week which I can't afford to lose due to other areas of my life I'm already slim.
I want to know if this is normal I seem to be making excess salvia aswell I'm really miserable now my jaw feels out of line and when I eat it really hurts.
I had it done at the dentist under local and he said it went well. I've checked and it looks alright can't see a blood clot there but my gum looks kind of white in colour and there's a gap like a slit there it also hurts my tooth to swallow and underneath my chin hurts is this normal please

I had this! It’s something to do with the muscles getting used to the new way your teeth sit (sorry I can’t explain it better). Took about a year to settle down and I only had one removed. Second one only took like two days to recover. This was done quite a while ago, Is it possible you have an infection if it’s still really painful to eat? I would get yourself along to the dentist if you can. No need to suffer if antibiotics can fix it. It’s the worst kind of pain ..., good luck !

Totally normal -when I had mine out (all 4 at once!) the jaw pain was way worse than the pain from the actual extractions
