I was referred by my GP for a breast scan at the hospital as a result of pain, itching and inflammation. The scan showed I have duct ectasia, a condition I’d never heard of before although the consultant gave me an information leaflet. Can anyone recommend anything for the pain and itching please? The GP who initially referred me prescribed hydrocortisone cream that hasn’t helped and although I will go back again, I’m after something to help in the meantime. Thanks.
