Persistent rash on chest?

I wonder if anyone can help?

I’ve had a rash on my chest for the last week or so - and it is really bloody itchy. Pics attached - any ideas what it might be? And in general how I can make it stop being so scratchy?

Thanks!

Oh I should say, it’s up my neck too, but less pronounced

Assuming you have no other symptoms; Take chlorphenamine if you are able to (check with your pharmacist if you take any other medicines) and arent already. Rashes come up for all sorts of reasons and are annoying, but they generally go away on their own after a few weeks. Applying some calamine in aqueous cream may help soothe it a little, also.

I get that from certain necklaces, and perfume.

Thanks guys. Tried aqueous cream, tried aloe vera, not been wearing perfume...will just see t it goes down eventually if I keep trying!

Thanks anyway

Sudocreme might help?

Wolfiefan · 19/03/2018 23:03

Never use aqueous cream as anything other than a soap substitute.
A pharmacist could advise. Maybe a hydrocortisone if it's eczema like.

Sudocreme was very helpful for soothing but didn’t actually make it go away - so an improvement but not the solution :)
