Had a tooth extracted last week, ended up needing a stitch put in. I’m due back at the dentist Tuesday to have the stitch out but I’m still in pain, there seems to be some swelling around my gums and just feels really bruised. I have had teeth out before including my wisdom teeth but usually recover quite quickly. Is it normal to still be in pain after 5 days?
