Apeocectomy experiences?

I had an Apeocectomy 8 weeks ago on a front tooth, from what I can gather it was a fair sized infection removed. So a fair sized gap left behind. So obviously there is going to be movement in the tooth.

My dentist says this is normal as there is less structure holding the tooth in place right now till it hopefully heals up back around it.

I'm not expecting miracles and for bone and things to be healed in 8 weeks (Online it says 6months to a year) but anyone thats had it does this seem normal?

I felt it was getting better and becoming more stable (or maybe I had just stopped thinking about it as much) but now I feel movement has become slightly more so again after eating a sandwich yesterday and maybe caused a bit of strain on the tooth. Stupid me!! Now I'm just panicking that its not doing what it needs to.

Im just hoping there is someone out there who can say they went through the same and now all is fine and dandy. Waaaahh. Panic mode :(

I googled it and most sites are just like "Expect mobility in the tooth for some time or a while"

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN!!!!????

and breathe .... Thanks

I still have mobility in the tooth 30 years later! Keep an eye on it and do not worry
