Bleeding between periods?

Hi

My period isn't due for another 16days, however today I kept getting quite noticeable period like cramps and when I went to the toilet after these cramps there was some blood. Stopped for a while then started again. I've never ever had bleeding between periods (I am 30) what could this be?

I've recently started taking evening primrose oil for pmt, but that is only very recent, i.e I've only had 3 doses and I didn't think they would do anything so soon, is this just coincidental?

Am obviously nervous that it's implantation bleeding as this is my fertile week, but we are very very careful..

Thanks in advance!

I have a bit of bleeding when I ovulate and also cramps at this time around mid cycle. Get yourself checked out though don’t leave it.

Thank you.

Been meaning to make a Drs appointment for something else anyway, so shall mention it

Still bleeding a bit and unable to get a Drs appointment til next Friday. Is this ok to leave til then?

Why don’t you call 111? I’ve asked them all sorts of random things like “if my birth control pill still okay if the packet went through the wash?”

I have had polyps in the past that cause bleeding for a few days mid cycle.

I think you'll be find leaving it until next Friday, as long as your symptoms don't worsen.

I really don't think 111 can diagnose/advise anything other than "see your GP" over the phone.

I had something similar sounding in my early 20s, it was caused by fibroids which I had removed and that sorted things out. Maybe ask your gp to refer you for an ultrasound when you see them?
