New to Mumsnet and first thread.
I suffer from really bad headaches that last 3-4 days around my period every month. I also suffer really heavy (flooding) periods and mood swings which feel like 3 weeks of the month!! Poor hubby has one good week a month from me lol.....
February 19 I had the Mirena coil fitted and now having a period which is alot lighter than before, no mood swings (as yet, fingers crossed) but still have this chronic headache. I have tried everything and now on Solpadol 30/500 but would really like to try something else as yes they are addictive!!! I only take 2 tablets a day, the most ever 4, so it's in control but still, in the past if I have been stressed I took a Solpadol as it chills me out.......
Just wondered if there are any other ladies out there suffering the same?
