The only real way to tell is to get referred for a laparoscaphy. Speak to yr gp

It is so annoying that endo patients are being fobbed off with the coil and no proper investigation. If you have had the coil a few months go back and say it's not working. It could be endo but hard to tell without a laparoscopy to diagnose, though If you have chocolate cysts from endometriosis on your ovaries they would show on an ultrasound. Endometriosis patients are also often fobbed off with IBS diagnosis, which should be a diagnosis of exclusion, ie you have been tested for everything else it could possibly be and it's the only thing left.
