Gastritis

Does anyone have experience of Gastritis, my daughter has just been diagnosed afer having problems for 2 years, she had a colonoscopy and Endoscopy yesterday, and they have taken biopsies, as told if not treated it could turn to cancer,
She is very worried of course after having this undiagnosed for 2 years
She has Crohns too which the Dr put her symptoms down to at first

It hurts! The GERD diet helps as does ranitadine. I don't personally get on with PPI medication as my stomach acid just continues to overproduce and I end up on a silly dose and still suffering.

I had this years ago. It was absolute agony.

No advice whatsoever but I'm sorry to hear your daughter is suffering.

Thank you for replies,she has been suffering for 2 years, but they put it down to her Crohns,she has 3 types of tablets to take,
Hopefully will sort it out
