Operation at 4.30pm - does that mean overnight?

Just got told today I have a small operation - hysteroscopy - biopsy - resection of fibroids under a general at 4.30pm on 13th. That seems quite late in the day.

I think the op should be under an hour (saw hysteroscopy and biopsy are 20 mins ish) but they normally have to wait for you to come round after general and I normally take a few hours. Do they normally keep you in overnight if its late or will they just be chucking me out around 9pm or so? I will try and find out but just wondered as seems a late time to do it. I guess it doesn't make too much difference. Thanks for any help. Also has anyone had this and how long did it take to recover - online says 1-2 weeks. Had hysteroscopy plus biopsy and general before and that took me 3 days but not sure why its so much longer for the resection. I can work from home if its just bleeding is this issue.
