What's this clear liquid coming out of his bottom please?

Ds feels desperate to have a poo - runs to toilet, big explosive noise very liquidy. Toilet has no brown in it at all, ds swears stuff came out.

Now he's not making it and still the stuff in his undies is clear, but is explosive.

Clear and watery - not like mucus.

Now if I haven't revolted anybody totally - how is this possible?

It's up to every 5 minutes now with accompaning comedy noise just before - what is it?

Sounds like very bad diarrhea? Maybe?

Is he unwell? How old is he?

It does sound like very bad runs, sounds as if he has got rid of all the poo and his body is now getting rid of water. Make sure he has plenty to drink.

He's absolutely fine. Doesn't feel unwell at all - he has done a shed load of poo for the last two days. Obviously his gut is just working too hard. If it were me I would take loperamide - but I'm guessing that is out of the question for a child.

This sounds really quite odd. The only time I know of people pooing like this is when we have given them bowel prep and they shit everything out to within an inch of their life!! He hasn't eaten anything that could give him a dodgy tummy, like a whole box of smints/neat sugar free squash ie anything with sweeteners?

If not I'd advise a check up with GP - dosen't quite seem right.

It's exactly like my bowel prep poo - but without there being litres of it. it also reminds me of when you have vomited everything solid up and you just bring back water.

He has allergies and so I know exactly what he has eaten - there are no sweeteners in the house.
