I’ve used it a few times. It worked fine for me, period a bit heavier than usual afterwards but nothing horrendous

I've had it many times over the years , works a treat . Only side effect was slight bloating but nothing major . Came on a few days after stopping taking it, period was slightly heavier but again nothing major .

Is it worth trialing before holiday or just go for it on holiday?

Must be strange wondering if it's gonna work or not!

Yeah that would be a good idea if you've got time.. just to see how your body reacts 🙂 are u quite regular ? U bed to start taking it 3 days before period is due (I think ) x

DumbledoresArmy · 24/02/2018 11:35

Yeah I'm pretty regular around a day or 2.
I assume if it worked out you had taken it 4-5 days before period starts it wouldn't make a difference?

I guess that would be ok (your doc would tell you ) if it works for you it's great , no faffing about when swimming etc 👍

Huge fan of norethisterone over here! Took it last year while on honeymoon for 2 weeks. Dr said to take up to 3 pills a day, but as I was still in BC I took 1 pill each day and it worked fantastic. There were a couple of days where I forgot to take it and I got spotting, but I took the pill once I noticed and it went away. I did find that it made my period longer once I stopped taking them though, just something to be wary of :) x
