When does free school lunches stop?

My DC is about to enter school. My wife and I are trying to budget for this going forward.

We were wondering when free lunches stop in the UK?
And what is the average price I should expect to pay going forward after this period?

Ours is free in reception and year 1 then £2 daily after that.

Eyfs and ks1 get free meals so reception year 1 and 2 then from year free. 1 school I know charges £2 and another £2.25 but tbh it depends on who the caterer is.

Free to the end of infants, which is year 2 for us in England. Our meals are £2.20 per day.

It's ks1, so once they start year 3, unless the government change it again. It's around £2.25-£2.50 depending on the school.

I'd you look on your local lea website you'll find all this info.

Thanks everyone!

We are fortunate that we have a few more years before we need to start planning this! I have already had a look on the schools local website, but I was curious what other schools were doing.
