Candida Misery

About a year ago i began to have these symptoms:

  • flaking skin around my mouth/red angry rash that made me look like a clown
  • low libido
  • sinus issues
  • brain fog
  • allergy to dairy which would aggravate the reaction around my mouth.

Went to the GP who gave me anti fungal cream which discolored my skin so its much lighter. I began to take pro biotics and garlic supplements which cleared it up in weeks but now almost 10 months on its back as i think the candida has grown resistant to the anti fungal garlic properties.

Can i ask what your experience of this has been and what diets have worked? How long has it taken?

I work in a very public environment so day to day people stare and its wearing me down.

Any advice? Thank you

Have you tried cutting out sugar? I get vaginal thrush and if I eat sugar it flares up. Cut out sugar

It’s a bit extreme but try the Harcombe diet for a few weeks and see if it makes any difference.

I was amazed how much better I felt and if you follow the first few weeks properly (which is hard) the results can be amazing.

I’ve just started a yeast and sugar free diet today including fruits. Just want to be rid using and tested method. Anyone have any experiences of beating this?
