Hi I need some mental support and also advice.
I moved to the UK 4 months ago. my rotator cuff started paining so I went to have a scan got results and physiotherapist told me I have no problem other than weak muscles. One day, I sat down to change nappy for DS who is 9 months old I had a severe lower back spasm, I rushed to GP she gave tablets which helped. Now I feel very weak I live in townhouse, I cant carry DS and come down or go up. I had C section in may 17. I feel hopeless. I don't have help DH works crazy hours I cant expect anything from him he comes home super tired. I feel very depressed as if I am not able to take care of my daughter. I feel scared and worried and I cry a lot! I am with NO friends in a new country. I am not able to take her to swimming or toddler group because I cant lift her at all. I need help can someone give me some advice pls
Thanks
SSR

I hate to see you get no answers but not sure I can help. I have a bad back too (post-surgery) and also sore arm (frozen shoulder) but no kids to lift here phew! Can you try and make friends with a neighbour? Someone from Social Work? Samaritans can give helpful advice (you don't have to be suicidal to call them just in need of someone to listen). Whereabouts are you (vaguely will do - am not a stalker though honest!)

You need to get yourself back to the GP and tell her/him what you've said here. You sound very unhappy and overwhelmed. Is there any chance you could go back to your family for a few months until you feel stronger - if you could manage the journey?

Thanks a lot. DD has started crawling and I am strength training for back and planning to start for the back. Planning to go back to my family for help or asking them to come here for few months till I recover a bit at least. I live in Peterborough. I am finding online therapy help. Thanks a lot people.

You sound a little bit better already - it helps to have a plan!
