Feeling lightheaded

I am on antibiotics (day 3) for a throat infection. Yesterday I started feeling light headed for a few seconds at a time (usually while I was sat down but more pronounced when I was bending to put washing on etc)
Seems even more frequent today even though I'm still in bed, the feeling of lightheadedness is right in the front, all the way across my temple and lasts for a few seconds each time and then goes.

I am supposed to be driving today but not sure if I can.

Could it be from my neck? Was worried it could be to do with my heart but dp thinks the episodes would last longer if it was from my heart. Don't think it's part of the virus as didn't have it the first few days when I was poorly with it so surely it wouldn't start now? Could it be the antibiotics? It's not listed as a side effect.

Not sure what's causing it, anyone know what it could be?

Don't think it's low Bp either as mine is high!

Could be ear infection or sinus infection both can cause dizziness

Thanks. Ears and sinuses are fine so don't think it's that - plus I'm not dizzy, just lightheaded! Smile

Ear, nose and throat all connected so probably just to do with your throat infection. Or it could well be the antibiotics as different ones affect me differently too. I am prone to feeling lightheaded for no apparent reason! But I think I have low BP so just put it down to that.

I had an inner ear disorder. No pain just light headed and dizzy. Often comes after urti.
