ds2 normally uses a steroid nasal spray for his hayfever (flixonase). i was going to start him on it this morning

but during the night last night he woke up with his nose pouring with blood.

he has never had a nosebleed before.

so, will it be o.k to spray the flixonase up and is a nosebleed really any concern?

I don't know the answer but can you phone your surgery asthma clinic or nurse to check it out?

Nasal sprays often cause sore or bleeding noses. I've had to stop using mine because of this.

he hasn't even started using his yet. he was fine with it last year though.

it was just a blood bath out of the blue last nite!

The amount of blood is really frightening isn't it. Hope you get it sorted.

tried to speak to a doctor but it was a no go and got a nurse.

she said if it bleeds again to get it looked at.

she also said wait a couple of days before i give him the flixonase.

tbh i don't have any faith in the nurses in my surgery. have had duff advice in the past. although i suppose it sounds like a reasonable plan.
