Cough

OH has had cough for 13 weeks.
Had xray 7 weeks ago, which was normal and clear.
No breathlessness, blood, pain, fever etc
Cough stops during sleep, phlegm in throat.
He has been referred for CT scan on Monday, plus radiologist appt after.
Doctor doesn't think they will find anything, really scared of lung cancer.
Just wanted to share and ask if anyone else gets a persistant cough like this.

My dd had a cough since start December but it was part of that fly virus going around.

Does you OH have any other symptoms? Why do you think cancer?

No other symptoms, non smoker. Still goes swimming 4 times per week. My mum died of lung cancer, she smoked. Made the mistake of googling

You are obviously thinking the worst and that's natural. But please try not to at this early stage. My father in law had a lump on his lung which showed on the x-ray. Good luck x

I've been coughing since November but still no cause. Hope your DH is OK.
