Period type pain but no bleeding

I’ve seen messages from last year about this, and wondered what the outcome was? I’m 51 and had irregular periods for @ 2 years now, going 10 months between periods. I’ve had really bad period pains now for @ 4 weeks and keep expecting to start bleeding, but nothing. I had a scan @ 18 months ago which showed small fibroid. Been ok till @ 4 weeks ago now need hot water bottle and it’s wearing me out. Suggestions please.....

Hi I experienced the same - it was a symptom of the peri menopause. I had period pain for weeks and no period. I felt run down with it. A friend recommended Magnesium Ok tablets and I've really felt it helped. I still take them now - I've not had a period for one year now and have had no period pain. Maybe worth chatting to you GP or google it.

At 51, pregnancy is also a possibility.
