Following a manicure I had a very bad infection in all my nails over Christmas. Antibiotics cleared up the infection but my nails seem to separating even more from the nail bed and some of them seem to be developing thick skin under some of the nails.
They don't hurt as such but are slightly tender and I'm concerned about accidentally causing any further damage. A couple of nails are separated so much that I am worried that I may accidentally detach them.
Does anyone have any advice? Is it worth going back to my doctor? It feels a bit over the top as the infection has cleared up
