Ovarian cyst debris

I went for an ultrasound today I've been having pains in my left side. They've found an ovarian cyst and it has 'debris' in it.

Anyone know what that means or any experience?

Thanks

I'm no expert, but did they call it a 'dermoid cyst'? These are cysts that have fragments of hair, bone, even teeth in them. They can be found all over the body and originate at conception when there's a miniscule mix-up with cell distribution. Could be called 'debris'?

They're quite common in young women, rarely malignant, but more prone than other cysts to twisting on their stalk, so usually removed.

Or it may be something else entirely! Hope someone more knowledgeable than me comes along.

Thank you. Didn't mention that name just said debris. I'm not young nearly 50, starting menopause.

Back to see consultant later in week hopefully it's nothing, not long to wait at least.
