Went to GP last Fri after feeling generally crap for a week or so, run-down, nausea, no appetite, needing to wee a lot and a dull twinge low down left side (ovary? bladder?) then 2 days of horrendous watery yellow diarrhoea w/ incontinence (sorry TMI) which I've never had before!
Wee tested positive for protein & blood so given abs (Macrobid?). Diarrhoea stopped but all other symptoms remained. Blood tests and 2nd urine test clear but given stronger abs to nuke it (Ciprofloxacin) and I'm on Day 3 of 5 now and experiencing horrid side effects like headaches and dizziness and I still feel crap! Exactly same symptoms.
Now I'm worried it's something other than a UTI - has anyone any experience of this? Could it be my hormones? I have just weaned my 14mo off the boob and am due AF (only my third since DS was born). No chance of pregnancy (and test negative).
I feel like I'm going mad - feeling so crap for so long. I just can't put my finger on it!
