Gunky eye in 8.5mth old

Its only just started gunking today, I've cleaned it twice so far. Trip to the Dr's or see how it looks tomorrow?

Probably - as long as they don't start getting any pain. If you are breastfeeding a quick squirt of milk can work wonders

or pop along to the local chemist and get the pharmacist to have a look

DD (3month) had the same problem last Thursday - I waited overnight to see if it would clear up as she has had the problem before and it cleared up on its own (with cleaning). This time it didn't. GP said he wouldn't have prescribed anything any earlier. HTH.
