Daily heartburn

For the past two months from no where I have started having really really painful heartburn and indigestion. I eat healthy and go to the gym 3-4 times a week. It's now Wednesday, and coming to the point where I'm having symptoms every day if not every other day. There isn't anything specific I eat that triggers it, and I don't drink any fizzy drinks.

I'm in SO much pain, it's caused me to be sick, Sunday and this evening. I've been to the doctors and they told me gavisgon will help it's nothing to worry because of my age (19). It's come to a point where it's so bad I'm going to have a break down.

Surely it's not healthy to be like this??? Anyone else experienced it? I've taken 4 chewable gavisgon tables and they haven't touched me ! I'm running out of patience !!

I have had this on and off for years. This year it got worse to the point I was throwing up after eating and the pain is horrendous (even Codine doesn’t help) I am on medication to treat what the doctor things is a stomach ulcer and awaiting a camera exam to look into the stomach. Maybe see if this might be the reason for you too?

Does it feel like a kind of raw pain in the top center part of your stomach (under the breast) at all ? If not, it’s unlikely to be an ulcer i think. Sorry didn’t want to worry you unnecessarily. Also, I know you say your diet it quiet good but do you take many ibrobufain pills?

I've been saying to my partner literally this evening that I'm having a mix of heart burn pain (between my boobs) but then also it feels like proper horrible pains coming from my stomach 🙁 I'm exactly the same. Being sick it's so painful. How do they put a camera in your stomach? Can't be a pleasant experience at all :( Im going to ring GP first thing, fingers crossed I get an appointment, my docs are crap!

Yep sounds exactly like mine. So painful I can hardly walk have to like bend my body in half. Sorry to hear your going through it too. Call the doctors first thing and ask for a upper gastrointestinal test. Do not let them fob you off because of your age the pain will only get worse x good luck x
