My OH has complained of being tired all the time for years. Doctors have given him blood tests and they’ve come back ok and his tiredness has been put down to having a small child and a demanding job.

Recently though it’s all got worse - if he does anything he needs a lie down. He get out of breath going upstairs. He feels dizzy. He picks up every cold and virus going.

He went back to the GP and had bloods done again. They’ve come back ok apart from very low sodium. The dr re did them and they came back consistent so now he’s been referred to see an endocrinologist.

My Oh never asks questions and has no clue what he’s being tested for - im in the dark too. Has anyone been in a similar state? What will the endocrinologist do? I am worried as google is doom and gloom!

i see an endocrinologist for my overactive thyroid. My symptoms were weakness, dizziness, loss of periods, hands shaking, loss of weight.

Hope he finds answers soon.

Thanks for your reply butterfly - the symptoms sound similar but his thyroid was ok in the blood tests - but then maybe there’s other tests the endocrinologist does?
I hope you are keeping well :-)
