Ear infection

I'm 6 weeks pregnant and have an ear infection. The pain in so bad I'm in agony. I feel so much pressure like it wants to pop. Went doctors who gave me antibiotics. Only had 1 days worth so far so nothing's happened yet. As I'm pregnant all I can take it paracetamol. Has anyone any safe remedies that may hell the pain. I'm so close to going and emergency hospital see if they can do anything.

You could try steam inhalation with olbas oil in it. Whatever you do, read the instruction leaflet. Hope you feel better soon.

Give the antibiotics time, it’ll be day 3 that matters. That’s when mine subside and are feeling better.
Use a warm flannel against your ear, should relieve the pain.

Thanks for the advice. I've checked and cannot use olbas oil. Another question. Normally when we take antibiotics you take your daily dose then sleep and start again the next day. As I was up i started my next day at 3 this morning then another one at 7 so now do I carry on every 4 hours or wait until the next day? I hope this makes sense!

I did wonder if you could use olbas or vick's.
I don't know about the antibiotics. I would try to follow the instructions to the letter.
