Why does this happen? (Sinus stuff)

I was wondering if this happens to anyone else and if you know why?

After I get a cold type virus, I always get blocked and inflamed sinuses which I usually treat with steam and saline spray. After a few days, I then get hard pain around my teeth and eyebrows which I guess is more inflamed sinus tissue. So far, so normal.

Then I start feeling inflating and popping sensations in my nasal sinuses.

Then, hours later, I get really intense bands of pressure-like pain going down in waves over my face. They come sporadically for a few hours and it’s really horrible, but then all the pain is totally gone and I’m well again.

I’m assuming it’s something to do with sinus tissue and or tubes but I’d love to know what causes the sensations and the pain and what (if anything) I could do about it. It’s so strange that it’s the same every time.

Anyone else?

I get the same, even atfer the simplest sniffles. Horrendous. Have tried most over the counter sinus stuff but not yet found anything to kick-ass sufficiently!
