Does this warrant a gp?

As above really.

Woke up a few days ago with a sore wrist, felt like cramp so assumed I'd just slept on it wrong. Still a bit sore going to bed but thought nothing of it.

Today it's worse and my little finger and ring finger are tingly and a bit cold. Can't hold a knife without strong shooting pain and still hurts through ibuprofen and over the counter co codamol.

It's not swollen or red and I can move it about but it hurts to do so.

Is there anything a Dr could do or will they just say take painkillers and rest it as much as possible (which is what I'm doing anyway so don't want to waste an appointment that someone else who actually needs it could have

Getting worse plus loss of sensation, I’d say gp.

What would they be able to do though? I don't really want to take stronger painkillers as they make me very woolly headed and I have to look after ds alone most days

They'll probably give you anti inflammatories. Worth going though .

Would a walk in centre be more appropriate then perhaps?
